ENS 2010 - Impressions

The ENS 2010 meeting took place in Berlin, Germany, 19 – 23 June 2010

Over 3000 participants from 83 countries worldwide attended the meeting. From the very first sessions on, people poured in to take part in the high quality scientific programme.

All the teaching courses were extremely well attended, which shows that the goal of the ENS to advance teaching in Neurological sciences in Europe with teaching courses and workshops at the annual meetings is as prominent as ever.

An industrial exhibition was held at the ENS 2010. The contributions of the exhibitors and the sponsors play an important role in the success of the annual meetings of the ENS.

The inauguration of Prof. G. Said as ENS President took place during the Presidential Symposium. The Presidential Symposium was entitled Autoimmune disorders.

842 abstracts were submitted for presentation. 19% were rejected, out of the remaining ones, 15% were chosen to be presented orally and 67% were selected as posters.

The ENS did not only offer a congenial atmosphere for everyone to learn and to observe the latest developments in neurology but also offered a unique social programme to the Participants to continue the networking.
