The 2009 fellowship went to

	Matteo Bologna from Rome, Italy, for his project "Synaptic tagging in human motor cortex", which he will carry out at the UCL Institute of Neurology London, UK, chaired by Prof. J. Rothwell.
	Vincenzo Donadio from Bologna, Italy, for his project "A new methodology to study nociceptors and autonomic skin nerve fibre function: implications for pain and autonomic diorders", which he will carry out at the Institute of Neuroscience Göteborg, SE, chaired by Prof. M. Elam.
	Gina Necula from Brasov, Romania, for her project "Diagnostic value of endoneurial edema, of Ig deposits and of inflammatory cells in serial sections in predicitin inflammatory neuropathy in sural nerve biopsies", which she will carry out at the University of Würzburg, DE, chaired by Prof. K.V. Toyka.
